Accurate quotes depend on clear specs and the right files. Sending too little forces us to guess; sending the wrong format can delay your job.

Quantity and size

Tell us the exact quantity and finished size. For multi-piece jobs, list each item and quantity. "About 500" or "letter size" leaves room for error.

Material and finish

Specify substrate (e.g. 14pt matte, coroplast, vinyl) and any finish (lamination, UV coat). If you are unsure, say so—we will recommend.

What to send for a quote

• Final quantity and trim size (or dimensions for signage).

• Material and finish preferences, or "your recommendation."

• Print-ready file or a representative sample (we will confirm specs before production).

• Required ship or pickup date.

Common mistake

Sending a low-res or draft file and asking for a "ballpark" quote. We need final specs and a production-ready file to give you a price we can honor.

How we do it at Print Wave

We quote from the file and specs you provide. If anything is missing or unclear, we ask before locking the quote. We do not run jobs on assumptions.
